Low Power Mode with Wet Roads

Son finally brought the hummer back home and I was able to look at everything. There is no moisture getting to any of the electronics through the cab on either the driver or passenger sides. It sat in heavy rain all day and did not have any issues after. Then I took it for a drive, hit a...

Low Power Mode with Wet Roads

Ok, I'll have to do some research on how to test for load, but we have visually inspected everything we can get to in the engine bay and under the driver and passenger dash areas. Do you have a photo or specific locations for the grounds you mentioned? I'll definitely check those out. It...

Low Power Mode with Wet Roads

Just spoke to my son and I forgot that we actually already replaced the entire throttle body about 4 months ago. Everything I find online points to the accelerator pedal sensor. Just not sure how that is related to wet weather since I already ensured that the sunroof lines aren't introducing...

Low Power Mode with Wet Roads

Ok thanks for the feedback, I have checked the wiring to the TPS and it looks good, but I can try replacing it altogether. Is it common for water to get to this while driving in wet conditions?

Low Power Mode with Wet Roads

Hello, I have a 2008 H3 that is intermittently entering Low Power mode when I drive in wet conditions. I have already checked and fixed the sunroof tube and have verified that no moisture is getting into the cab in the normal areas (yaw sensor/BCM). The issue appears to be coming from...

    Low Power Mode 2008 H3

The positive terminal looked rough so I went ahead and replaced it. Was driving in the rain later that day and got a stab system traction failure and low power alerts. I found post about yaw sensors, throttle position sensors, and wheel sensors online so I guess I'll look at those tomorrow. I...

    Low Power Mode 2008 H3

So fuel pump was replaced and it drove fine for a day and then went to start and low power mode was back. I'm going to try to check the wiring and battery cable tomorrow. The battery is brand new, just put in 2 weeks ago.

    Low Power Mode 2008 H3

So the vehicle was taken to a dealership and they seem to think it is the fuel pump, but I'm finding it difficult to have that make sense. Haven't been able to get into to check wires over the last few days but I will try to do that today.

    Low Power Mode 2008 H3

Awesome thanks for the recommendation. Could you tell me what specifically you mean by "both ends" of the harness? Or do you mean just trace the whole harness?

    Low Power Mode 2008 H3

Hello everyone, was looking for some help with the hummer I just purchased. I literally drove it home stopped amd tried to restart it, and it went into low power mode and started throwing a P1682 code. I tried finding a solution online, and stumbled upon the security system reset. I did that...
