Case was a full rebuild, chain and all. Apparently that seal is common for a lot of other GM cases. All good now with correct boot style.

Yes, but the 3D-printed part is easy to change as I engineer it on the go. Smart I am not lol. I have 1 more piece to print because I adjusted the hole locations. If this works, I'll have a final design to print.

Who like to pay $250 for a replacement side mirror? I sure don't. After my 3rd mirror decided to run into a rock, I had enough. I looked into a replacement and found that a Wrangler mirror from the 3rd gen looks similar and only cost $50. Upright like ours but more square with a round base...

Got the new seal yesterday, bought the rubber bot style. The spring is on the INSIDE of the boot, I didn't think to look at the old seal good enough but it is there. New seal installed and will install TC tomorrow.

I am in the middle of swapping T cases and the rebuilt one I had stored was rebuilt with a rear seal with no boot but a spring retainer. The old case has the boot but does not have a spring in the rubber seal. Who has used either and which one is better?

If the external wiring is in good condition It could be the magnetic coil inside the locker is damaged. You can trick the computer by adding a 10k ohm .5 watt resistor in the body side of the harness. This simulates the locker coil is working and should clear the code. $4 on Amazon. This...
