Hi, I posted this somewhere else but couldn't get a answer so hopefully you can help me. I would like for my horn to beep and lights to flash when I lock/unlock my doors but it wont work.
I can't get pass step #2 because the DIC never turns on. I waited a couple minutes for it once. While I was holding the lock/unlock buttons, a red dummy light (had a car with a lock on it) which I'm assuming is the alarm, flashes. Also, after I release the buttons the alarm will sound. Any help is appreciated!

As a backup, do you have any buddies that have of work at an aftermarket audio and alarm installation place? Because they usually know the tricks on making the alarms optional things work. But, I know sometimes an alarm needs additional components to work, like adding a relay to the alarm module or so.

Give this a try....
Get into vehicle, and make sure doors are closed.
With engine off, turn key to the LOCK position, then back to the OFF position. (You are probably now in RAP mode...retained accessory power),
Press the fobs LOCK and UNLOC at the same time, and hopefully, the display should read RFA, Then press the control stem in the IP cluster for about two seconds and the modes should view.
Then back to the original steps, and it appears you want RFA 3.
