Bouncy front end question

Hi guys, I have an 07 5-speed H3. Yesturday I did the torsion bar lift to 23and a half. After driving it today the front end feels pretty bouncy, even when shifting. Not side to side, just up and down. It's getting a set of duratrac 35's right now and an alignment tomorro. Anyway I was just curious if the bounce was normal, thanks everyone!

Take a look at ur LCA. You will find a big gap between it and that Rubber bump stop above it, this is why you get that movement. Anyway, you can either order a 1/2" longer bump stop from trailduty.com which will basically reduce that gap by 1/2" (which will reduce the bouncy feeling upfront) or go custom and weld something on the LCA to reduce that gap while using the stock bump stop. Btw, the stock bump stop is a progressive spring while the aftermarket one is one rate, as a result the OEM one is softer on smaller bumps.
Also, did you re-check your height? The front tends to settle higher or lower after you drive the truck abit.

I'd also unbolt and check for worn shocks. When you open up the gap between the dampener and control arm, worn shocks become more evident as well.

As far as the gap goes, the advice by amrg is sound. I used a 2 x 2 x 1/2" square of rubber that I attached to the lower control arm with some trim adhesive to fill the gap. The ride is much more compliant that having the gap open. That was a couple years back and it's still working well.
