Change oil light ?

08 3.7 base manual
So i changed the oil on Saturday, the change oil light came on Monday
how do i eliminate the change oil light without going to mechanic ??

Accelerator Pedal Method (Most Common)

• • Turn the ignition key to the ON position without starting the engine.
  • Slowly press the gas pedal all the way down to the floor and release it three times within five seconds.
  • Watch for the oil life message or light to flash or turn off, which means it is reset.
  • Turn the key back to the LOCK/OFF position.

Instrument Cluster Stem Method (Alternative)

• • Turn the ignition key to ON/RUN with the engine off.
  • Press and release the trip/reset stem on the instrument panel until the screen shows OIL LIFE.
  • Press and hold the stem down until you hear beeps or see a confirmation message.
  • Turn the key back to OFF.
