Just an idea. An option of the straight tube. What do you think to remove the cat and put it a Glasspack http://www.cherrybomb.com/Catalog/Categories/glasspack.aspx
Honestly, with modern cat design, you wouldn't notice any difference. They are not anything like the old highly restrictive ones from 20-30 years ago.

Not sure how it is on H3. But removing the cut is reducing the emission. If you will take it off, you will have to put it back on for the emission test.
does the resonator restrick air flow?..... i hear about doing the resonator delete an im jus wondering why is all, if it does im thinking about replacing it with striaght pipe.....

here is what it sounds like with no muffler or resonator, just a cat
would that have any performance gains over the cat-back Magnaflow exhaust I am looking at? I know that would be a much cheaper option than the $475 I am looking at
I just removed the resonator and put a straight pipe. The sound now is better, not so much deeper but enough. I like it.
Now I thinking to buy an headers.... http://www.hummerpartsclub.com/mm5/...e=H&Product_Code=GIA_3303-3658&Category_Code=
What about this "header"?

MagnaFlow Catalytic Converter
Looks like a tubular header with the pre-cat. Is it better than GM?
