So you got my attention with this airbag suspension kit for some odd reason. well basically because i cant leave anything alone..LOL

I am not knowledgeable enough about the suspension systems to talk with any certainty so I was hoping you could school me on this set up. The first thing i see is that you used the word stock right off the bat and I already have a 6" Fabtech lift with Airbags in the rear. I can not imagine how to get airbags up front...hhmmm

what can you tell me? larry

It will not make a difference if the rig is lifted or not. The factory upper control arm is replaced with a custom arm that has a flat plate on top to mount the bags, the upper shock mount is removed and replaced with a custom bracket for the upper bag mount, the shock is relocated below the bracket. This allows the truck to sit a ride height on the torsion bars and then when the bags are inflated the front will get several inches of lift.

Side steps are on hold for the moment. I was educated by a friend that my price was way low for these and on top of that, I received an offer locally for $100...

Fabwork was done by airbagit in Arizona. I worked with them on modifying their lowing setup to gain lift instead of drop. I wish I had the time to keep messing around with it, it would have been a neat setup. Truth is I don't have time and it would probably do someone else more good than just sitting in my garage. If anyone is interested, the upper bag mounts requires cutting off the factory shock mount and welding on the new bracket, so needless to say it is not bolt on.

It's cool. I had AMP research steps on my old rig.. and i"m probably gonna put them on this one. I love the look of no steps, and the useability of the full flat surface. Just wish that price tag would drop some

They are definitely awesome pieces of equipment. I saw them on FYR's rig in person and was definitely impressed. The price however is far too steep for me. I'll stick with my U's.
