Headlight questions

Hi, so I’m wanting to modernize the exterior lighting on my H3. I know that to put 7 inch halos, I would have to purchase the adapter from lased designs. The main question I have is this: I’ve seen some 9 inch halos, do those size headlights fit right into an h3 without an adapter?

Second question: are those halo kits, the ones that go inside the factory casing, any good? Would it be worth it to buy those and tint the factory headlights a little bit to get that modern look?

And last question: are there any modern looking headlights that fit directly into the H3?

I've seen a lot of those, but I also plan on buying new indicators so preferably I would like to find some that are headlights only. Do 9 inch headlights fit?

Your best bet is to find a set of lased design adapters or make your own. The standard 7 inch round headlight fits the best IMO. You can take the factory housing apart and add halos or projectors if you want.
IMO get/find the adapter and buy the morimoto super 7 led projector. they are the best on the market. I have them and it blows the old headlights so far out of the water they are in outerspace

Necro because this doesn't deserve its own thread: I installed a set of Eagle Eyes today in an '06, part numbers GM382-B001R and GM382-B001L

These were not CAPA certified because the owner wanted inexpensive, although I'm not sure CAPA cert gains better plastics or more robust construction? I typically buy CAPA for a better beam pattern (vs cheap aftermarket)

Anyway, quality is terrible. One arrived with the adjuster already broken. The other broke out one of the ball stud supports when I gently leaned into it.

Of course this should be no surprise as Eagle Eyes are typically junk IME, although these were particularly egregious. Finally, this was just a stock-for-stock repair for a customer due to Bambi. Aftermarket upgrades were not the goal here.

I've been working on a set of headlights for like 2 years now but don't hold your breath, probably in the $600-800 range
