HELP>>>A/C only blows on coldest setting

Hey Mike,

My 08 H3 has a great working A/C. One issue: I have to keep the dial set on the lowest setting ie; all the way to the left in order to have cold air. Sometimes, it is too cold. If I move the dial even one click toward a warmer setting, the A/C seems to go into heat mode. This makes me have to keep it at the coldest setting or not have cold air. Any idea if there is a sensor or anything that I can check or replace? I am thankful for the cold air as I live in FL but some mornings it's just too cold. Any advice would be greatly appreciated in advance.

I believe Hunner did a thread on this problem and fixed it by adding a resistor. Might want to do a search...

The solution is roughly the fifth post down in the tech library. Also an upgrade to a new Hvac control panel should do the trick though that will set you back a few shekels

I had this issue with my H3. Man was it annoying.
