Hey guys, I purchased these led cree reverse lights last week and they finally arrived and I installed them yesterday. Instal was easy, besides I can to cut some of the plastic off the bulb because it didn't fit as snug as I wanted it to be, but the difference is huge. It is hard to tell in the pictures but the difference is extremely noticeable. When in reverse now, I can see everything behind be and it brightens everything up 100%.

I have been wanting to replace mine. Which brand and size did you decide to go with? Are they the 3157 or the w16w bulb in the tail light assembly & are they 5 or 7watt..I think the back-up bulb is the w16w...but just want to make sure before I order mine. Thanks...they look really bright!

Thanks! The stock bulbs are 3157, but I called the place I ordered them from and they had 3156, which still fit, but I needed to trim some of the plastic on the bulb itself, and these bulbs are 5watts. There are two different types you can order from this website, ones with extra leds on the side, or without the extra leds. I bought the ones with extra leds on the side and those you need to trim some plastic, but if you order the ones without the extra side leds(there is an option when you add them to your cart), you do not need to trim them. Either way they are extremely bright! .http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/servlet/the-492/3156-3157-3456-4156/Detail

They are holding up great, they are extremely bright. I switched trucks with my dad today so I could pick up some cases of antifreeze and some barrels of oil, and when he reversed my truck and drove away it was the first time I could see how bright they actually are from outside the truck. They are very bright, and its sounds right hunner, I just know that it is a CREE led bulb on the top.

Try not to laugh to hard...but.....

I used a similar bulb for the head lights on my riding mower.

(with 100+ degree days in the summer, I do a lot of mowing at night when it is cooler)

They work like a champ and draw hardly any amps....unlike a set of aux lights.

That's exactly what I'm going to try on my boys' Predator 90 quad. It has lights but they're meant to just be seen and don't put out any light. And the magneto isn't big enough for bigger lights.

Do they make LEDs intended to be headlights?

Sent with Tapacrack

yes they do. I don't really use my fog lights since the majority of the light is blocked by my brush guard mounts so I was planning on putting LEDs in the fog lights
