My brake lights on my 3T are intermittent and clearance lights don’t turn on at all. Running lights and turn signals all work fine, the fuses are good. If I keep my foot on the brake longer than a few seconds I get “TRAC FAILED SERVICE STAB SYS” I thought this may be related to the lights but it’s not lights work with code and sometimes don’t work without the code. Any ideas?

Starting to think failing BCM, which falls along the lines of M22's water thoughts. Do you have a sunroof? Check for water leaks along passenger A pillar down to the kickplate where the BCM is located.

Also, just make sure your battery terminals are TIGHT. They should not spin at all.

If stock battery terminals, run up to a good parts store and get a good set of crimp on style (crimp onto the wire). Factory terminals are $hit.

But if not battery, and not water, chances are it is the BCM. So when checking the cables, at least disconnect the negative for a few seconds and re-attach and see if that clears it up. Sometimes a disconnect will clear up any intermittent, internal brain malfunctions (aka brain farts) in the BCM and other computers. If not, take it to the dealer for troubleshooting. First thing they will do is disconnect too, then reconnect and check battery cables. If that does not work, I would bet they will do a re-calibration on the BCM.

Electrical Gremlins... Start with battery terminals. While at store have them check charging system. That'll include battery.
