I don't know. I've seen you bash some rocks with no lift.After seeing the damage caused to 06 H3's lift, I am convinced the Rancho is not appropriate if you are going to do any kind of rock crawling. I am actually toying with the idea of an SOA. I lack the talent and workspace to do it myself so it may be going to a place like Off Road Evolution.

You will also need a Deaver 4" lift springs in the rear for that terrain!I only use my 3 for soft sand dune bashing, our issues are mainly rust prevention and making sure no sand gets in and around the gear selector lines, emergency brake system, transfer case etc.
SAS here would be difficult to do as I too aren't 100% capable and shops don't do that sort of custom work.
With the Rancho, I'd scoop up less sand when I hit a dune doing 40.
