I had over 50,000 miles on my 37" Trxus M/T's, so was in need of new tires. After much diliberation with myself I decided to get the 37"x12.5x17" Goodyear Wrangler MTR's. These are still on national backorder and 4 local shops could not get there hands on them for at least two weeks. The guy at my local Discount Tire went above and beyond the call of duty and rounded up 5 from several suppliers. The price was also good at $366 per tire, which was the best I have seen for these things in this size. I put 50 miles on them today and I am extemely pleased with the road manners of these tires, very quiet for an MT, very smooth ride and well balanced. I'll try them out off pavement over the next few weeks..

Here are a few pics.

Very nice! I was going to go with those when I got mine, and they were on backorder then. The Discount guy tried hard to find a set, and even called Goodyear direct, and they could not even tell him when they would have any, so I got the Cooper STTs. Let us know how they do offroad for you. I am still interested in them for the next set maybe. Though I have no complaints at all so far on the STTs.

I'll keep everyone posted on offroad performance.

Its hard to explain, because I didn't expect to notice anything, but the truck actually feels better, almost like its lighter, seems like the truck is happy with the tires. Whatever, if the truck is happy I'm happy.

I have 35" Kevlar MTRs on the H3 Alpha. Love them off road. They do get noisy after awhile. My experience with 37" and greater Goodyear tires is to rotate them often. I think they are the best looking tire on the market.

Man, great minds think alike! I just dropped off the Deuce to get Goodyear MT/R 37X12.50R17 tires on tomorrow. I'll be sure to post up my experiences as well. I plan on doing a little informal wheeling at my in-law's ranch this Sunday.

I was running the Interco Trxus M/T's before, so I was used to rotating them about every 5,000 miles. On paper, I think these Goodyears on only a couple of pounds lighter. Still working on dialing in the tire pressure, the guys at discount tire swore that they needed to be at 35 psi for this vehicle in this size tire, but I think its too low. At 35 psi, the truck is a little squirly on the highway, I bumped them to 40 psi this morning and it feels a little better.

I've heard nothing but positives about those tires from the people I know that've owned them.

The price you listed sounded pretty good for those.
