The Hummer Club Inc. has officially released the full 2026 event schedule, and it’s shaping up to be one of our strongest years yet. From iconic eastern trail systems to legendary western destinations, 2026 will offer something for every type of Hummer owner, whether you are stock, lightly modified, or running a full trail build.
Below is the complete breakdown of each event, including dates, locations, and what makes each destination special.
Leatherwood Off-Road Park
March 27–28, 2026
Pre-run day: March 26
Slemp, Kentucky
We kick off the year at Leatherwood, one of the newest and scenic off-road parks in the eastern United States. Leatherwood is known for steep climbs, tight wooded trails, off-camber sections, and serious rock obstacles. It offers a wide range of trail difficulty, making it a great early-season event for everything from daily-driven Hummers to highly modified rigs. The optional pre-run day gives attendees extra seat time and a chance to explore more of the park.
Katemcy Rocks
April 10, 2026
Mason, Texas
Katemcy Rocks is a bucket-list destination for many off-roaders. This private Texas park is famous for massive granite rock formations, slickrock climbs, waterfalls, and technical crawling. A highly modified rig does well here, and it is one of the best places in the country to test lockers, gearing, suspension, and driver skill. This is a single-day event packed with action and a favorite for those who enjoy challenging terrain.
Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area
May 29–30, 2026
Pre-run day: May 28
Harlan, Kentucky
Black Mountain is an eastern classic. Located in the coal fields of Kentucky, this park features rugged hill climbs, rocky creek beds, wooded trails, and expansive views from high elevations. Trail difficulty ranges from moderate to extreme, with plenty of options for different builds. The pre-run day allows groups to get familiar with the park and spread out across the trail system.
Colorado Mountains
July 10–12, 2026
Denver, Colorado
Three trail days
This is one of the crown jewel events of the year. The Colorado Mountains event offers high-altitude trail riding with breathtaking views, alpine terrain, shelf roads, and historic mining trails. Expect long trail days, big scenery, and a completely different experience compared to eastern parks. Weather, elevation, and trail conditions all add to the adventure. This event includes three full days of trail riding and is a must-attend for those who want to experience Hummers where they truly feel at home.
Durango
September 17–19, 2026
Durango, Colorado
Three trail days
Durango continues the Colorado experience with legendary trails in the San Juan Mountains. Known for iconic routes like alpine passes, rocky climbs, and narrow shelf roads, this area combines technical driving with unmatched scenery. This event is about exploration, endurance, and enjoying some of the most famous off-road trails in the country. Another three-day event that rewards well-prepared trucks and confident drivers.
Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA)
October 9–10, 2026
Pre-run day: October 8
Coal Township, Pennsylvania
AOAA has become one of the Hummer Club’s favorite fall destinations. Located in Pennsylvania coal country, this massive park offers everything from wooded trails and rocky climbs to open terrain and water crossings. October brings cooler temperatures and fall colors, making it an ideal time to wheel. The pre-run day allows smaller groups to explore additional sections of the park before the main weekend runs.
Windrock Park
October 23–24, 2026
Pre-run day: October 22
Oliver Springs, Tennessee
Windrock is known for steep climbs, rocky ledges, and challenging trail systems that demand both driver focus and capable vehicles. It is one of the largest off-road parks in the eastern US, offering hundreds of miles of trails. Windrock provides a great mix of technical driving and scenic overlooks, and it has become a staple event for experienced Hummer owners.
Uwharrie National Forest
December 4–5, 2026
Troy, North Carolina
We close out the year at Uwharrie, one of the most unique off-road destinations on the East Coast. The Badin Lake OHV area features rocky climbs, tight wooded trails, and terrain that keeps drivers engaged without being overly punishing. Uwharrie is well known for its guardrail-lined mountain sections, which still catch people off guard the first time they see them. It is the perfect setting to wrap up the season with a relaxed but capable trail weekend.
Whether you plan to attend one event or follow the entire schedule across the country, 2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for The Hummer Club Inc. Event details, registration information, and hotel blocks will be released closer to each event date on the club website.
Mark your calendars, start planning builds and maintenance, and get ready for another year of trail miles, campfire stories, and Hummers doing what they were built to do.
