My 3T is long gone but I stay active as a part-time mobile mechanic. One of my jobs this week on a callout was u-joint replacement job. Okay, I can do that. With a visual inspection I didn't see signs of bad U-joints. This H2 was nice and taken care of. He said it was an 02 (?). Prob an 03. I had the cust move the truck to a flatter area and I jacked up the rear axle. When he moved the truck there was def a ku-chunka sound in forward gear. I was thinking possible rear diff prob. Nope; transfer case. There is a def wobble in the yoke going in to the transfer case. It looks like this cust needs a transfer case. I guess it's a BW4484. 27 spline? Where to get one and cost? I know these things are freaking heavy. I overhauled my 89 K1500 many years ago to replace engine and trans and that truck had a NP241.
