Windshield tower covers

OK so I've tried putting a couple of door edge trim on the Plastic on the windshield to get rid of the pesky freeway windshield noise. No luck.... does anyone have pictures of how they fixed that problem? I heard pop rivits, bolts, or black silicone. Anyone have done this on your h3?
