What did you do with your H3 recently? NEW

Reloader had done a similar mod. Are you planning on making a kit to sell? Will be interested after my swap.

    Suburban Baby D-Max

Took it with her to the staging area, she about had a nervous breakdown. Not a bush in sight and I almost had to walk home.

    Suburban Baby D-Max

It's almost not worthy of posting, but it's close to off-road worthy. My wife's 2021 Suburban with the 3.0 Duramax needed some new tires, 60k on the Duratracs and they are close to done. Decided on a 2 inch lift and 33.5 BFG KO3's. Might have to take it to Cleghorn for a shake down run.

Hummer H3 Owners: Pull The Airbag Fuse Before You Go Off-Road

Definitely an issue with any rig on the trail. I have seen every make have a deployment, not isolated to the H3. Pulling the fuse is a double edge sword as your video shows both. For me, I would rather have an accidental deployment with a broken nose and a pricy replacement than not have my...

    Motor replacement options....

It's all a matter of perspective, $5000 for a motor that was hand built with more care and caution than a factory motor will likely run for 200k and outlast the rest of the car. $5500 for a used car with unknown history might last a year or two. He has one car with a solid motor, you have 2...

Electrical Issues: Switch quits, clock resets

Factory battery clamps are known to be problematic. Most people will cut them off and crimp/clamp/solder new heavy duty style. Make sure the posts and clamps are clean.

I am on a few other Silverado forums and what you said has been the consensus for a few years now.

Some concerns with PowerStop calipers. Supposed to be pressure tested but leaks with no brake pressure. Last set had early failures too, quality has dropped.

Quick rebound from carnage, and back on the trail.

WOW, lucky it didn't happen at 60mph. Glad you're OK. Rust and impact guns don't mix.

Have you checked Hayden? I think they still make them for the H3.

2025 Black Sheep week picture thread

Yep, just finished watching it. I was expecting/hoping for more. Well, we will have to make a better impression next year.

Found what was squeaking from the rear in Sand Hollow. Rear pads are worn down and uneven. Both lower slide pins were seized, and the rubber rings had deteriorated and stopped the pins from moving.

    Fog Light and High Beams

Telling the OP that running a random diode without an attached wiring diagram will be more damaging. To minimize cutting and splicing factory wiring harness, run a set of LED pods for minimal cost and damage to factory components.

    Fog Light and High Beams

They are counterproductive for highway driving. You'd only want one or the other on. BUT... if you are looking for daylight at night, adding a couple of LED pods that output five times the light on a dedicated switch is better.
