Location of Temp Sensor on ‘07 H3

Passenger side of the engine, back near the firewall below the head. Buy a cheap 15mm socket and cut a slot for the wire connector like an O2 sensor socket. A wobble adapter will make it easy to replace.

Welcome, best tip and trick I can give is SAS and LS swap. Just kidding. Enjoy it first and hit us up when you find things that need to be fixed or upgraded.

2025 Black Sheep Week, Hurricane UT - April 20-25

Bring what you want, but, in my opinion, I think we are better prepared for H3 trail fix than a Gladiator fix. The front CV is a 15 minute fix with the Rancho installed, Steve's rear axle was more of fluke and he was on 37's.

Hummer H3 HD Dana 50/ CV shaft upgrade

Sounds like a driveway swap is needed in Sand Hollow this year!!!!!

Quick help needed! Dead battery, replaced nothing!

The old OnStar system is a known drain. It is no longer supported, so pulling the fuse will help. The rear wire loom between the bumper and hitch is another known problem for chafing wires.

    Rascole's SAS build

Gut punch today and a big setback. Went to check on my new LS build, was supposed to be done by now. Shop gave me some bad news. During assembly, the mechanic found a crack in the #2 cylinder wall. over an inch long and not repairable. Shop is looking for another block, if they can't find...

    3.5L For Sale (Maybe)

I have someone close by me that has an 06 H3 with a blown motor for sale. It is in decent shape and I told him I will pay scrap value for it if it doesn't sell. I am doing a LS swap this summer and will have a good running 3.5 to drop in it, but if you are interested in it, that motor should...

H3 I5 power steering pump comparison.

Great write up. My thought is there is a thin line for ideal steering. Too much or too little flow or pressure and you will over heat and tear it up. From what I am told, pressure is king, better to have more pressure than flow. For desert racers, they need TONS of flow for massive amounts...

    Cgalpha08's build

It's crazy how much bigger they are. But I said that when I first got my H3 and went from 33's to 35's then to 37's. Now I feel inadequate again.

H3 I5 power steering pump comparison.

I can measure the pulley and send a pic of my spare tonight. If your trip doesn't work out, I can bring it to Sand Hollow next month.

    Hummer Benchtop

I agree, but this was a try it and find out project. We'll see how it does after a year.

H3 I5 power steering pump comparison.

I have an old Cardone I bought sitting on the bench. Was going to have it rebuilt and modified but with the swap around the corner I won't need it. No res or pully though.

    Hummer Benchtop

My son wanted a workbench in his garage when he goes back to base and wanted to make a DIY version. Well, the wheels started to turn, and we came up with this beast. We are fans of Blacktail Studio videos, so we knew it would be an epoxy top with some stickers and pictures underneath. Started...

Newbie looking for his next ride

Will you take it off road? How hard? Both are capable but the H3 Alpha is better. If you're OK with occasional dirt roads and more tailgating, the H2 wins. 33's are stock, 35's will fit the H3 and I believe 37's will fit the H2. Remember, these are 20 year old rigs so minor maintenance will...

2025 Black Sheep Week, Hurricane UT - April 20-25

Onx is good but not great. Trails Offroad did update a lot of trails this year but like Alrock said, sooo many trials cross each other it gets confusing.
