It's pouring cats and dogs at my house. I'm 50 miles southeast of Hidden Falls. Fru says it's not raining up in Killeen. My local forecast called for 30% chance of rain tonight and says 70% chance of thundershowers tomorrow. We'll just have to wait and see. Definitely no playing in the deep mud pits (unless you have the H3 submarine package in the old H3 ad)!!!!

i'm so mad that I won't make it down afterall. The fraud dept. from my debit card called this afternoon with over 35 different transactions at various websites in a very short period of time some were already charged to my card and several still pending, about $2,000!

Then a guy called me from Hawaii (an actual good guy) to say my name, address, card info was posted on pastebin, I felt sick when I saw my info out there for the entire world of bad guys to use! What the F? There is one common element in that I actually shopped at one of these merchants and I will be contacting them tomorrow!

The good news is I'm not responsible for any of it, but there will lots of paperwork and waiting for a new card, major incovenience.

What have I learned: Make sure you only shop on secure websites with https in their address AND use a credit card when shopping online, not a debit card. You always think it won't happen to you. Ok enough depressing stuff...

Have fun, this weekend! Take lots of pictures and I hope to see you at the next Texas event!

so why wont yo be able to make it. as long as your credit card company knows, and you report it all tomorrow, there is nothing else you can do. and this is me speaking from experience being that I have investigated thousands of those types of crimes. make some phone calls tomorrow and make the drive down after all the calls are made. staying home wont fix anything. come have some fun.

It rained in Dallas some but not as much as expected. Not sure anyone has the submarine package except Skippy and unfortunately he wont make this trip.

It was my debit card so until the chargebacks go thru I'm out alot of $$ and can't go anywhere. You are lucky to live close to Hidden Falls and not have 3 dogs to board, etc.

Sorry to hear. I've had my debit card compromised twice. Chargeback timing depends on your bank. USAA puts disputed funds right back while they investigate. Big money center banks don't care much about their individual retail consumers and make you fill out and sign forms and take 2-3 business days to make your account right again AFTER their investigation. Consider moving to another bank if your with Wells Fargo, Bank of America, etc!!

That's good, at least. My local credit union operated the same way when my debit card with them was compromised. Good for you for not banking with one of the big evil banks. At least your CU staff is friendly and will take care of you.

Back on topic ... WHO'S READY TO DO SOME SLOPPY WHEELIN'!?!?!??!?! :horns:

This was a fun day. Special thanks to Fru and Slickstring for everything. The whole park is a mess from thee rain and everytruck that made it up anything made it different for the next. It was challenging even on the park roads.
